    Brilliant Zack!

… I guess it goes without saying that the shredder is also “Green” … in line with worshipping “Mother Earth” … and shredded material can go directly to the must-have garden composter… 😉

I wish you well 🙂 Melek

“The government was set to protect man from criminals – and the Constitution was written to protect man from the government. The Bill of Rights was not directed against private citizens, but against the government – as an explicit declaration that individual rights supersede any public or social power.”
    ~ Ayn Rand

  1. Fantastic concept, Melek. I need to feature an add-on option for this device, so that the shredded American documents go straight to your politically correct compost heap via a kind of doggy-door funnel behind the shredder. Knew you were brilliant, hadn’t realized you’re also an inventor.

Oh you don’t know how right on this Zack! I guess the picture of the constitution going through the shredder got Rockefeller thinking. “We begin with ze internet and that cumbersome free speech itself! YES WE ARE, YES WE ARE” Cybersecurity Act of 2009 would give the Obama administration sweeping powers to shut down any website, collect their data all in the name of national security!

Shock!!! Dailykos even is “against” this crap! Or rather their against it only because the bill was exposed…..

I would laugh, if it weren’t so true. Zack, you have a G-d given talent for taking these ugly truths (that unfortunately, far too many willingly squeeze their eyes shut against), and representing them for the harsh reality they are. If your work opens the eyes of even just one person…

P.S. Still at Conservababes…had some server issues for a few days, but all is well again.

  2. Thanks Donna, and thanks again for the naviagation guide. I love Conservababes, I just don’t know if it loves tech-challenged types like me. Once I get going in there it’s the best, with more forums and ideas than you can shake a stick at.

  3. Thanks lmfgwl. Actually, they’re scarcely even satire; you’ll know that if you know any deep dish liberals/Leftists.

  4. Great, thanks again godless. I always wanted a good liberal dropping in– you exemplify beautifully one of my 50-odd beefs with liberalism: its emotion-ridden, hysterical hate-spewing in lieu of cohesive argumentation.

Oh man, thanks for this one, it’s comforting to know that Obama’s (more like osama’s, am i right guys?) administration is the one that’s going to be responsible for the greatest violation of American civil liberties since the Alien and Sedition acts.
Oh wait, never mind. The patriot act was enacted, and bush suspended Habeas corpus and you were totally fine with that. If you guys hate the big government so much, why do you give them a pass when they actively increase their own reach and power?
Y’all LOVE to quote the founding fathers, and adhere to a ‘strict’ interpretation of the constitution, but when this flagrant trampling happened where were your guys? Where was that famous quote, the one tailor made to this situation? Not a peep from your end of the spectrum, not one of you seemed to remember the following aphorism: “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin

Hot button issues like guns and abortion and gay marraige are the Rights “death of Michael Jackson” A nice fat easy softball target to distract you from the fact that your supposed defenders of freedom had no idea how to fight a war. No exit strategy, and cutting taxes while doing it. Your leaders shot America in the foot before we even began. How can you run a war without funding? Why is it that a party that claims to want to eliminate needless government spending sends billions of dollars a year to the Israeli government, and cuts funding for schools in the USA?

You sicken me. Not a single one of you are Republicans. A true Republican would NEVER stand for such an autocratic maneuver.

What have your leaders gotten you? Honestly? What has all your waving of the bloody shirt ever managed to accomplish this last eight years?

More debt, an unpopular war waged for nebulous reasons, that has made us less safe. And senselessly endangered the lives of our troops. Yes. Senselessly. No WMDS in Iraq, Osama hasn’t been caught. I’d call that senseless. All we managed to do was topple a dictatorship that Regan helped to install in the first place. Our boys are DYING cleaning up Regan’s mistake.

But I shouldn’t worry right? after all, Obama’s going to be too busy shredding copies of the constitution and personally mugging white liberals to do the kind of damage a Republican president can do.

Ah, I see that you are continuing to censor posts in the name of liberty. Quite cowardly, don’t you think? Oh, and I am not “godless liberal”‘s sock puppet. I am just another person who thinks you are a hypocritical fool.

    To restate my previous point.

“one of my 50-odd beefs with liberalism: its emotion-ridden, hysterical hate-spewing in lieu of cohesive argumentation.”
I didn’t know Glenn Beck was a liberal.

Furthermore, to borrow your rhetoric, one of my beefs with conservatives is that they decry political correctness and claim to be supporters of freedom, and yet conservatives always rush to delete opposing comments, cut the mics of those who dare to cite facts that run counter to their deluded views, and otherwise attempt to censor those who hold views that do not fall in line with the conservative party line.

    @jake
Agreed, I hope Zack knows better than to borrow from Bill O’reily’s book of tricks.
