On come now…we ALL know that if it’s cold and snowy, that it’s on account of man-made global warming, the same as if it’s warmer-than-usual. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like during any season of the year, IT’S ON ACCOUNT OF GLOBAL WARMING!

The untold origin story of Old Man Winter?

    Hey, John?

[ moonbat link’s annoy the moderator… expressing your own idea’s does not ]

    [ – – ] as well.

“In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”

“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

Remember the droughts from the summer?

Manny — you obviously flunked or skipped any basic physical science classes you had.
Do you have more dignity than to copy the fraudulent bilge that a crook like Al Gore spews?

    Here is an undeniable climate pattern;
Back in the 1700’s and 1800’s, lemons were grown outdoors (not in greenhouses) in the Carolina’s. Well known figures in history, like Civil War generals were known to enjoy their lemonade (all grown locally).
Today, citrus cannot be grown in North or South Carolina, not in Georgia, or even in the Northern parts of Florida.
The “frost-freeze line” has been slowly drifting Southward… over the past few hundred years.
UNLIKE the fraud and lies that Gore spouts, this fact is documented and obvious to everyone in the Southeast.
    That is called,… cooling.

    Comparing apples to apples-
A guy became VP by answering a request, a calling to set aside his peaceful private life, resign from his private sector career to serve under a younger president for eight years. A mild and soft-spoken statesman by reputation, he ends up being the target of the worst scalding vitriol, name calling, and never-proven accusations. At the end of the day, his resignation from Halliburton cost him hundreds of millions in legitimate private income, not to mention the sacrifices to his family.

    …the other ‘apple’

January 1993, the incoming Vice President and President-elect are being guided on a private tour of Mt. Vernon, when he see’s life size bronze busts of Jefferson and Franklin. To the nearby Park Ranger, right in front of a C-Span camera, he asks, “Who are these guys?”

So was a sample of the what the Senator from Tennessee was to bring to his eight years in the Vice Presidency.
Once out of office, and struggling to accept the truth of losing the 2000 election, Al Gore takes up his global warming crusade…. a shameless push and promote the biggest fraud in recent history with falsified research, systematic fraud and misrepresentation. Gore has personally profited by hundreds of millions of dollars, by promoting a big lie and selling ‘carbon credits’.

‘Cap and Trade’ is a massive sweeping taxation to steal from every possible part of the economy – nothing is left unmolested from this taxation scheme. Yet, in the face of being completely discredited, he continues his embezzling drum beat. No one in the media, except conservative voices, says anything.

Dick Cheney answers his party’s call and gives up hundreds of millions over eight years serving as VP,… whereas Al Gore uses his VP title as a stepping stone to artfully promote a big lie, thereby lining his pockets with hundreds of millions of dollars.
Small wonder his wife left him, his son is a tragic wreck… but nothing phases Al~

I’m not arguing with you Steve, you are not John. The grown-ups are talking.

Manny — you are a shallow cipher in your reverse projections. You tell Geeknerd, me & others,… just about anyone you disagree with, to ‘grow up’ – or ‘adults are talking’.

Did you self-assign yourself a Boy Scout merit badge for being a grown-up?
Did you get a merit badge for blindly following corrupt lying thugs like Gore?
…and given your penchant towards commenting with images of pelvic-sexual perverted activities,…did you get a merit badge for inserting unnatural items, into bodily orifices?

And getting lippy with the moderator are you, Manny?
    Tisk-tisk-tisk…
Go check out his Facebook site… you’ll see it linked as a ‘Friend’ through Diversity Lane’s FB site… he has a cowboy hat as a thumbnail pic.
He has a picture of a crocodile… I bet he was thinking of folks like YOU-!!

I’ll say it again then. Grow up, this is not the playground. I’ll bet you cash money that I am physically younger than you. But that’s meaningless when you act like a spoilt brat.

  1. The warming of global tempuratures isn’t a simple thing that just automatically means it gets warmer everywhere in the world. The planet is complex. A change in the chemistry causes all kinds of different reactions in different places.

If I recall correctly, the jetstream is the only reason most of Europe enjoys a full, four-season climate, considering that it rests on the same lattitudes as the colder southern Canada. By some models, a few degrees’ warming will shift the stream significantly, completely altering Europe into a much COLDER place.

Simplifyng complex science is a great way to mislead people, and never mind the gall it takes to assert that the majority of the world’s scientists who study this situation are in agreement.

  2. Mean to say “…who are in agreement are somehow either all poor scientists, or are engaged in some weird ‘fraud.'”

And since I forgot it. Yes, Steve. Rafe is a big boy, he can handle it without you backseat moderating for him. I’m a moderator on a forum, as well as an admin for a Team Fortress 2 server.

That crocodile line could be taken as a threat, while at the same time you’ll tell me to my face that you would never threaten someone you disagree with politically.

Manny — the twisted inferences you extrapolate are truly from some alternate dimension… I guess the old term, ‘lava lamp liberal’ can be re-used here, too.
It is visible to everyone that the moderator saw fit to trim your comment… I poke fun at it,… and your interpretation is that I am “…backseat moderating for him” ??
…and whoopi -do, you are a “moderator” and “…an admin” too…

Let’s see, your an Eagle Scout, a “moderator”, and “an admin for a Team Fortress 2 server”… well, fiddle-dee-dee, I just got all flush and beside myself.
Perhaps you ought to send Zack or Rafe you resume’… no doubt they will be impressed.

” That crocodile line could be taken as a threat…”
…do you have the slightest concept of what a self-emasculated, effeminate, bed-wetting little whimp you sound like ??

Please explain to us – A threat by who?… to who?… how? or is it found in the splintered ‘windmills of your mind’?
Did you tell Rafe how threatening, his crocodile picture is ? No doubt, I’m sure he will be impressed… naaa, he’s probably already got a laugh from your pithy indignation.

Either you earned your Eagle Scout from some scouting unit that had pathetically low standards (did they have self-esteem & self-actualization merit badges?), or you have had some very significant and sad changes in your life – after your teen years.
Yes – I have known several Eagle Scouts… the differences between all of them and you are extreme.

Yes, you are backseat moderating. Grow up and knock it off with the playground bully act.

  3. @ cobain:

Now that I can get behind! The idea of Old Man Winter being some sexually frustrated old goat forever bitter about his once-glorious pleasure palace being wiped out. XD

    Manny — Help us understand your value base… how you define things;
    – what exactly is “backseat moderating” ?
… I honestly do not know, never heard the expression until you wrote it.
Would you please tell Rafe that I am somehow intruding on his j-o-b ?

    – what defines “…grow up”, from your value base ?
    – what is a “playground bully act”…?***
…other than the light of truth that makes you uncomfortable ?

*** in ALL sincerity, that was no act – that is right from my core values… you strongly appear to have a terribly warped & damaged sense of masculinity ( assuming you are a male ).

And yes, you’re trying to do Rafe’s job for him. He can handle it just fine as you’ve seen without you going “oooh sassing the mod? Baaaad boy!” and comments like that.

Surely it should read “Al Gore’s Third Favorite Stately Pleasure Dome”? (with apologies to Coleridge…)
