Yeah because when I think of “fun”, I think of “fast food”. I just can’t wait for an afternoon of a two greasy meat-like patties coated in rubber bacon and mayonnaise. Hooray!

  1. At last we have something in common.

Is it more like; BIG A$$’ed FIRST LADY IS WATCHING YOU

Blatant hypocrisy from Democrats is so conspicuously tolerated, and the RINO majority is too gutless to call it out…

Imagine Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin, in sleek work-out suits, beginning a PSA with a question; “Aren’t you annoyed by a fat-fanny First Lady lecturing you parents what to feed your children?”

The point isn’t that fast food is “fun”, cobainfan57, but the fact that Michelle Obama demanded, for example, potatoes be removed from school lunches and for purchase via food stamps and WIC, instead of suggesting changes in how potatoes are prepared. Potatoes are extremely healthy, and only fattening if they are fried or slathered in butter or sour cream. A baked potato, with a tiny bit of butter is packed with nutrients, and vitamins like c (more than orange juice), potassium and so much more. Michelle Obama eats like a pig, burgers, fries, onion rings, ice cream, cake, pie, potato chips (seen that photo of her in her bathing suit in Hawaii stuffing her face with a handful of chips, yet?) Her so called “let’s move” program doesn’t provide healthier meals, to school children, it in fact takes away money from the food stamp program, which is already over burdened, so there’s less money for an increasing pool of food stamp users to be able to buy fruit and vegetables and healthy protein.

Michelle Obama’s scam is in aid of increasing hunger, and attacking US farmers, discouraging them, pushing them out of business, to make us more dependent on foreign countries for imports of food. It’s also about establishing precedent for massive over reaches of power by the executive branch.

Mary, have you seen the way school lunches are prepared in most schools?

ABC had a show called “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” last year, that had the British chef tackle the nutrition problems faced in an American town. A good portion of his time is spent at a local elementary school, seeing what kids are being fed every day. The cafeteria’s serving of “mashed potatoes” are literally just sacks of pellets that, when mixed with water, form a mashed potato-like goop. I highly doubt real potatoes are a major ingredient in that concoction.

And Michelle Obama is fat? I don’t think some of you have really seen fat people before.

cobainfan — want to compare Michelle Obama in a woman’s one-piece Speedo swim suit, compared to Sarah Palin wearing the same ??
[ btw – Sarah Palin has had three more children…]

Let, ‘America call in & vote’ on these two~

  2. Mary, do you honestly believe all that?

    Cobain:
The phenomenon of Michelle being called “fat” by people is, to me, the epitome of how politics has gotten to the point where it completely distorts people’s reality. Were Michelle Obama anyone other than who she is—let’s say if she were Mrs. Clarence Thomas—then the “fat” labellers would see the same thing the rest of the world sees: a toned woman. Before Michelle Obama came along, everyone agreed what a toned woman looked like. But because Michelle Obama is married to the Soetoro the Marxist Kenyan Usurper, she is “fat.” It boggles the mind.

(Oh, and an utterly apolitical cause gets turned into some sinister conspiracy.)

“literally just sacks of pellets that, when mixed with water, form a mashed potato-like goop. I highly doubt real potatoes are a major ingredient in that concoction.” I dealt with the same type of “pellets”. When I worked at a fast food joint that will go un-named. That was their French fry’s. Now I knew then as I know now that potatoes can be dehydrated. Sure there are a lot of chemicals in those pellets. Yet this is no different than instant potatoes in pellet form. Yet, I get the concept…… its in PELLET form! I didnt see the ABC documentry but I can tell you this, I mad the best darned potatoe fritters with that stuff. Rather than have them press through the fry former. I would open up the breech and let “goop” come out freeform. Made into paddies and dunk in the fryer. Great for early morning breakfast. Really, this is like the idiot who thought it would be cool to eat nothing but McDonalds food for 30 days. Now who in the hell would do that? I rarely eat at Mcdonalds and as far as my kids are concerned, its only on a by monthly basis anyway. Really this is about hating the large corporations that have becomd successful. Jeesh, wanna triple the price of something? Just slap the word “Organic” on it.
