    Great one Zack-!
Older leftists know all too well the potential threat posed by young people protesting and “raising awareness” to their political views.

I suppose even butch-lesbians do not accept aging very well… do I see some coarse whiskers on Devon’s upper lip? …[yikes-!]

  1. Yeah– one aspect of leftism/”progressivism” that doesn’t get enough press is its incredible agedness. Marx penned his soul-destroying classic in 1867… just two years after Lincoln was shot! Pasteurization was being discovered around that time! How can something this creaky still be thought of as exciting, Changeful, progressive?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone – barring 16-year-old “revolutionaries” – actually say anything that would mark anything Marx wrote as “exciting.” Even at the time it was dry and boring as hell. But “changeful”? Absolutely. Not necessarily a change for the better, but a change nonetheless.

  2. Steve T: Hadn’t intended the whiskerage on Devon’s lip but I wouldn’t be at all surprised; this is a drawing I find practically everything wrong with and am going to redraw it from a whole other angle with less emphasis on the broad in black… will keep the concept which you’ve kindly applauded here since I think much too little is made of the creaky and cobweb-covered heritage of so-called Progressivism.
