I cannot believe the chance Devon is taking! Surely she must know that “The Religion of Peace” does not tolerate homosexuals, in any manner! Oh…duh…forgive me. Lost my head there for a second. She’s a stark-raving lunatic liberal. She’ll be using her “big girl” words to promote peace and harmony with them, right?

    Great posting Zack-!
You must have an inside cultural view from Ann Arbor, MI – the ‘Berkeley of the Midwest’.
Good point from Donna C. – this Muslim lady could have a husband who has his trusty-rusty (‘religion of love’) scimitar, waiting to saw their heads off too… of course, this inconvenient reality is never accepted by liberals until the flesh on their necks is parting from their torso.

Naw, sharia calls for the stoning of homosexuals, and the beheading of people who are note “People of the Book” (Christians, Jews, and in recent centuries Hindus) who don’t convert to the True Religion. Little Diversity will be spared (assuming she’s a closet Christian), but in the humiliating second class citizenship of dhimmi. Of course, by the time she turns 14, they’ll have surgically removed her clitoris (so she won’t experience orgasm, and therefore won’t be tempted into adultery after her arranged [forced] marriage). Muslim men like their women frigid.

Excellent points, Norman. Now, let’s hope that Diversity won’t be raped and put death for her “crime”, as occurs far too frequently under that self-same “Religion of Peace” law of sharia.

  3. Libtard collective “thought” process:

“I know! Let’s leap on Sarah PALIN’s back once again to mask our tacit acceptance of shariallah!”

I’m wondering though if Devon countered the prospect of a good stoning because she carrying a burning flag. I’ll have to check Koran big book of rules and regulations, but as long as the “infidel” is somehow humiliating the great Satan all other forms of blasphemous behavior is allowed. I think she’s good however until the flag is burned completely.

  4. Thanks Chuck and Z. It feels good to get back into the game after a self-imposed exile of a week or so (a work-finding mission of sorts; I didn’t find it.)

Donna: I guess Devon, much like Obama, figures that waving a burning US flag around enough (no mirrors, but plenty of smoke) is a sure bet to bring on the Muslim glad hands, no matter your “tainted” background (in her case, lesbianism; in Obama’s, Americanism.)

Steve, that’s a good point about the scimitar (no pun intended). Donna’s an ace who frequently spots the questionable logic of my characters and is charitable enough to chalk it up to their liberalism rather than possibly my own creative failings. Another savvy buddy wrote me correctly that the women should rightfully be walking behind Alex, as befits proper second-class citizens in the Muslim world. Hey I can’t cover all angles, I’m just a dopey cartoonist, not Victor David Hanson. Good luck in navigating the “Berkeley of the Midwest,” and whatever you do don’t try to escape them by moving to Minneapolis.

  5. Good mini-primer on the joys of marriage in Muslim nations, Norman. Reminds us of the beastliness of those whom liberals like Obama wish to cozy up to and have bitching sessions with RE: our respective national shortcomings.

And I see you’re reading the news again, Donna. You’d be much happier if you’d stick to fiction, like The New York Times.

Right on, Dave. I imagine Letterman and the libtards would these days be vastly more comfy with the Alaska governor were her name Sharia Palin.

Excellent, Ikabod, and relates to an earlier point I started to make with Donna. We ALL need that book of Muslim laws and regulations; when you find it on amazon let me know.

(That “we” is lots and lots of right-thinking people.)

  6. Thanks Anthem, and love that moniker. So will tons of others who stop by here.

What boggles my mind is that the Left find common cause with folks that make their worst fears about the Right a reality, and then some!

Sharia makes the worst excesses of Oliver Cromwell’s Britain and Puritan America’s bluest blue laws look like Utah on a Sunday afternoon.

  7. Norman: for all their savagery and primitivism, the Sharians can still be cast as “victims of Whitey” in the twisted, upside-down logic of the Left. I doubt they’d be making common cause with these scumbags if they looked like Norwegians.

  8. Zack , I thought you were going to take a break? Wow! That was fast, Excellent!!

  9. You’re right Jose, I did make that announcement and in fact I really shouldn’t be doing this (should be putting all my energy into more practical career pursuits)– but what can I say, it’s a hard habit to break. Thanks buddy.

I do not know of a single progressive who gets excited about Sharia law.

Do you think before you draw comics? Before you write comments? Do you ever wonder if you are writing about real people, or figments of your imagination? When you sit down at your easel, do you ask yourself, “Are there people who really believe the thing that I seek to mock?”

Because while reading this, I do not see charicatures of the progressive cause. I see bogeymen of your imagination.

Liberals who love sharia, university professors in gangs, people who do not support the troops… These things you mock: they do not exist.

Every liberal I know thinks that sharia law is backwards. The university professors I know are the least likely people to commit crime. I have yet to meet an American of any belief system and any political leaning who does not support the efforts of those sent into danger to protect them.

But liberals disagree with you on many other issues: this is true. What I want to know is, what do you gain by pretending you do not share common ground?

Both you and the liberals genuinely want what’s best for the country. Both you and liberals genuinely think they’ve found most of the answers. Both you and liberals are scared that America lingers on the brink of self-destruction. In the great debate of what to do about our massive problems, it does you no good to assume that the other side has an ulterior motive. If you treat them like they do, then you stand no chance of converting them, and you will continue to lose the fight.

With this comic, what is your goal? Is this an attempt to help people “wake up”? How will you wake people up if you do not defeat the arguments they actually believe? Attack their ideas. Their *actual* ideas. Judging by the whole body of this comic, you haven’t got the slightest clue what their ideas are.

Comedy comes from truth. Do your research. Spend more time listening, and less time ranting.

Ignore your bogeymen. Turn off your overactive imagination. Listen to what liberals actually say.

Focus your ire and wit on your real opponents, and then you will become a satirist.

    What Tom said.

Basically, you’re hilarious but in all the wrong ways.
